Hello everyone!
PaxDei-RP.com is still very fresh and in order to grow and provide a mature and solid platform for the (future) roleplay community in Pax Dei, support is still needed in several areas. Below I present some areas for which volunteers are needed. One person can take on more than one area if desired.
If you want to support the platform without being involved in one of the areas, please contact me anyway. Maybe we can find a suitable task for you.
Moderators
Responsibilities
Moderators help to keep the platform healthy. They check whether topics are in the right areas, the terms of use are being adhered to and, if necessary, intervene if there are riots within the platform. The plan is to always have enough moderators so that the workload is well distributed.
In general, moderators have a weighty say when decisions are made around the platform.
Requirements
Language skills: English and/or German.
Friendly manners, incorruptibility and objectivity are the cornerstones of a moderator. On top of that, good teamwork skills are necessary.
Other
Of course, moderators are only needed as the number of members grows. Nevertheless, I am happy to accept applications already, so that there is time to get to know each other.
Discord/Social-Media Administrator
We found support for Discord.
Responsibilities
Nowadays a website/forum is only half the story. A Discord server is definitely part of an engaged community but other social media platforms could also be interesting. Specifically, we are looking for someone to help manage and administer the Discord server of PaxDei-RP.com. If interested, other social media channels can be created and operated.
Requirements
Language skills: English and/or German (ideally both languages).
Competence in using Discord and/or other social media channels. Ideally experience with the Discord bot MEE6.
Other
Someone is urgently needed to set up the Discord server adequately.
Designer
Responsibilities
Logos, graphics, styles for the website, and much more are needed again and again, but especially at the beginning and adjustments mostly after major software updates. As a designer, appropriate graphics and styles should be created/edited.
Requirements
Language skills: English and/or German.
Experience in creating graphics, logos, designs or entire CI/CDs.
Ideally also experience with styles within the Woltlab Community Suite.
Other
As a designer you are in charge of creating the appearance of PaxDei-RP.com. In order to create an appropriate design, a designer is urgently sought.
Administrator (Assistance)
Responsibilities
Helping with the administration of the platform, especially in case of my absence. From time to time I am not available for a few days due to my business activities or sometimes I am on holiday. Accordingly, in such a case, the administrative work should be taken over by another administrator.
Requirements
Language skills: English and German.
Technical competence with Woltlab Community Suite.
Ability to work in a team
Other
I must be able to trust the administrator assistance. Accordingly, the getting-to-know-you phase will certainly take longer and administration areas may be unlocked gradually.
Community Relations
Responsibilities
Maintaining contact between other Pax Dei projects, guilds, groupings, etc. Helping to organise events within PaxDei-RP.com like contests, raffles and likewise.
Requirements
Language skills: English and/or German.
Sociability and friendly manners are indispensable for this job.
Other
The CR is important to make the platform known on the one hand, but also to support other community projects and to keep in touch.
English proof reader
Responsibilities
As I am not a native speaker, I would like someone to proofread the PaxDei-RP.com official English texts and suggest/perform corrections if necessary.

Unfortunately, I cannot offer anything in return at the moment, apart from my gratitude, the appreciation of the work (e.g. by naming you in the imprint, etc.) and the right to have a say in the direction and future of this platform. In the medium term, I am also willing to hand over more responsibility to team members and grant them a corresponding amount of freedom. I also promise to always have an open ear for everyone in the team and to fully accept that the work here is done on a voluntary basis and in one's spare time, and thus naturally often cannot be given top priority.
