  • An Introduction

    Happy Paxdei!

    My name is Sersei, I am the GM of a roleplay community known as Gilded House Roleplay. We are about 2 years old, and are currently following Ashes of Creation, and recently Pax Dei. A handful of our members got into the last Alpha test, and we're planning on getting into the next one as well. We hope to build up a community for both games, should they be successful, and build a thriving roleplay community.

    Our community for Ashes currently has over 2 dozen ongoing stories, a full cast of characters and we do monthly roleplay events and host community meetings. We also are the host of an alliance project for Ashes that seeks to bring like-minded communities together. A goal we may very well bring over to Pax Dei.

    For Pax, our vision and concept is still under construction, as we work with our members to see what they would like out of the game. But we hope to bring a unique vision, that promotes diversity and inclusion for all player types.

  • A rant about my concerns/vision for the RP community

    Hey there!

    Late to the party :D

    I think it would be awesome to see a roleplay city-state or even region where it's all roleplay communities within a Homevalley maybe. I think coordination is important, and there has to be a level of planning and organization for that. Most roleplay communities are not as tightly knit, guilds/clans usually are the organization, where rp communities are more loosely aligned.

    If this was an idea, I'd recommend getting together clans, at least the ones who plan to be on NA or an EU shard, and let them discuss this among their leaders. EU may still want to remain on EU and NA on NA so it may be a split vison. The RP community so far is small, but I expect it shall grow overtime.

    You would want to already have that structure/organization in place before the community balloons to be the most successful.
